Reached out on their website the day our spring broke. Didn’t receive a call until the following day. I was available the day I put in the request for repairs, but had to work the next day. Was quoted $419 for 2 springs after only one of our garage door springs had broken. Sounds like this is how all garage companies do it though. They got out the next day after they called in the morning. They then upcharged my wife for new pulleys and safety cables as well when the ones we had were not bad or broken. This brought the total to $586 instead. Service was quick and took less than an hour. The guy was friendly and replaced our springs and garage is working again though at least. Just expensive, took a long time to respond, and they weren’t up front about pricing on the initial call.

**To follow up to your reply, you may want to update both Google and your own website as both show you’re open 24 hours a day, even on Sundays. That is the main reason I tried to request service/repairs. That makes more sense why no one reached out though.

It is hard to believe that all parts were looked at and a full garage door inspection were done and determined to be bad pulleys and cables after 2 minutes of looking at it and without actually testing/replacing anything first. There was no physical damage done to either of those parts. I understand the concern for wear, but if they’re not actually bad, it would be nice to keep using those.

We purchased our garage doors from Royal Door in May of 2021 and they were installed in late August/early September of 2021. When you speak of the warranty and American made parts, and the price reflects those things, it would be nice if the springs lasted longer than 5 years and if the warranty was longer than 1 year.

If nothing else, a heads up on the initial call that while the price given was only for springs, additional charges for things like pulleys and cables (and how much those could be) would have been a nice heads up to be prepared.

I feel like the review is accurate. It is a ‘Good’ review. I did not select ‘Not Great’ or ‘Far From Great’. While the actual repair was done well, everything else about the interaction and cost were not ‘Great’ or ‘Exceptional’. The technician, Josh, was fabulous!  He was on time and easy to understand when I had questions.  Royal took great care of me from the initial call to completion of a new opener. This was a great experience start to finish! I could not be more happy with how these turned out! Great office staff! They were very responsive, thorough, lots of options and very prompt!
